Experience the many worlds created by Onyx Path Publishing with our first digital tabletop roleplaying game convention. Onyx Path Virtual Gaming Convention focuses on all our sci-fi, fantasy, and horror tabletop RPG settings and systems. This three-day event will consist of virtual organized game sessions, actual plays of your favorite game lines, and TTRPG industry professional workshops, along with panels featuring audience favorite content creators and game developers. Onyx Path Publishing is partnering with Gehenna Gaming for tabletop RPG fans to connect with each other and industry professionals to explore old favorites or discover new games. Some proceeds will go to Thurgood Marshall College Fund and The Bodhana Group.

The event kicks off tonight, with the Opening Ceremony streaming on Twitch starting at 5:00 PM EDT. With Rich Thomas, Matt McElroy, Eddy Webb, Dixie Cochran, and Matthew Dawkins, the Onyx Path Virtual Gaming Convention kicks off with a keynote and discussion about Onyx Path Publishing and the convention. FIRST WEEK FINISHED!

Greetings Good Friends and Terrific Travelers!
We're just wrapping up our first week of this 4-week campaign, and I'm very excited by our progress! While I'm typing this, we're over 300+ backers, and over 90%+ of the way to our funding target! And, technically, our first week ends at 2:00 PD EDT, so we've still got MORE than three weeks in this campaign!

Also, I think a lot of backers came to visit us this week thanks to a surprise shout out from the team at Hit Point Games during the final days of their Deck of Many Animated Spells kickstarter campaign. Their campaign may have ended (very successfully!!), but they have opened their pledge manager to take late orders! If you haven't checked them out already, it's pretty fun stuff!
So, as we cross into the second week of our kickstarter campaign, let's keep up the energy and excitement. I know that the middle weeks of a campaign are usually a little slower and quieter, but we've just got that little 8% to go until we're funded and then maybe looking at Stretch Goals! And don't forget about the Onyx Path Virtual Gaming Convention this weekend! I'm sure there will be plenty of Legendlore mentions and hopefully some new travelers will crossover to The Realm to join our campaign!

A handful of quick notes today, something that would fall under the "Potpourri" category on a Jeopardy board.
I'll take Kickstarter campaigns for $200, Alex!
Before we dig in, I'll just note that we're on pace to fund and exceeding daily projections! Keep spreading the word when and where you can, and invite any gaming friends who may be interested to join in. This continues to be the Little Project That Could, and it's great to see it continuing to move toward the funding target! Nice job, heroes!

2. LEGENDLORE ACTUAL PLAY - NOW ON YOUTUBE
And, speaking of Actual Play sessions run by Jen Vaughn, the Legendlore Actual Play that I mentioned in the June 6 Update, Lost in the Crossing, is now available on Youtube for those not subscribed to Onyx Path's Twitch channel. Check it out, if you haven't watched it already. It's a great example of a Session Zero, setting up the game and the situation for the characters:
3. READ THE PREVIEW MANUSCRIPT
It's amazing that we can be watching people play the game while we're currently in the middle of funding it's creation, but that's because the entire preview manuscript is available for anyone to check out and jump into right now!
OK, mentioning the manuscript again was a bit of a cheat, because you already knew about that. But, it was my segue between Actually Playing the game and asking for your feedback! That's right! For those backers who've read the manuscript and/or had a chance to play the game, the team is looking for your feedback as they continue the work in transforming it from a preview draft to a final product.
Help the team catch errata early and speed the process along! As backers of this campaign, we're all working together to help Legendlore reach it's legendary destiny! This is another great opportunity to bring us closer to that end goal.
Was that smooth or what?! Ha! OK, lots to digest there, and lots to review and many links to click. Who knew reading these updates would be so much work!
