Hello Legendlorriors,
Well, it took a couple of weeks for the digital ink to dry on the final sign-off, but here we are - ready to distribute the backer PDF for the Legendlore RPG!
Over the past 18 months, dealing with the pandemic and the scheduling and logistical hurdles has proven to be an ongoing multi-part challenge, and getting books printed and shipped on time has been difficult. That's mostly to external factors in dealing with manufacturing and distribution changes.
However, in terms of the digital side, Onyx Path has done a pretty great job, hitting the PDF estimated delivery date listed on the kickstarter campaigns, if not delivering a little early. Despite being short a couple of art pieces, the team is eager to get this PDF out to you a few weeks early so that we can all have that extra time to dig in!

Legendlore RPG Backer PDF
The Realm of Legendlore sits on an unstable nexus of reality and sees many visitors he from other worlds. You are such a visitor. In Legendlore, you have Crossed from Earth into East Azoth and become a changed version of yourself — a songwriter finds themself a bard, a scientist a wizard. You might find yourself in a whole new body to better match your true self, including adopting a new fantasy race.
Legendlore offers a diverse and inclusive world filled with adventure and mystery. Fight megalomaniacal dictators, explore magic and strange science, and claim your Legend as you find a way back home.
In this book you’ll find:
- 18 backgrounds to play as yourself in Legendlore, such as activist or scientist
- Legend mechanics to represent your destiny, plus 5 sample Legends
- Seven player races, including pixies and orcs
- Two new classes, the alchemist and gunslinger, and 15 sub-classes
- A starting adventure with five pregenerated characters
Of course, I'm listing all of that knowing that you're already familiar with book! It's never not fun to have a summary, though! And, it's a good moment to catch our breath as we head into reward distribution info!

Your link to claim your Legendlore RPG Backer PDF will be sent out by our BackerKit pledge manager over the next day. Your backerkit account should also confirm all rewards that you should expect from your reward tier selected.

BACKER PDF VERSION
You've already seen the working draft version that we shared during the kickstarter campaign. This is the first "complete" version of the Legendlore RPG to be released. We've sent you this initial Backer PDFs for three reasons:
1) Who wants to wait?! These projects can take a long time to turn into final releases - you know that - and the Onyx Path team wants to get them into your hands as quickly as possible!
2) To thank you for your support! This project, literally, is a direct result of your support during the Kickstarter campaign. You deserve to see it before anyone else!
3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Legendlore RPG Feedback Form!

Generally, they try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, although it may be accessible a little bit longer due to the chaotic nature of the world we're in now. Still, please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered. And they already know the form asks if your name is correct - that's a carry over from a previous form, so you can just ignore that. Ha, maybe our errata form needs an errata form. Or... maybe it's a test just to see who's paying attention!
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.
You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.
