TRACKING INFORMATION
If you were set to receive a hardcover copy of Legendlore as a kickstarter reward, your book has shipped and likely delivered by now. If you haven't received it yet, please check your tracking and confirm that it's still en route. Sometimes I'll hear from backers that had no idea the book was being held at a local post office or had delivered to their next door neighbor. The courier and delivery companies keep tracking information for about 6 months, so if you've got any issues, please let me know as soon as possible so we can sort them out. March 2022 Update

We're in the final week of March, and time for our regular month end update. Following up on our update from the end of last month, most of the backer who were waiting for their kickstarter hardcover reward should have it in hand at this point.
TRACKING INFORMATION

Since our last update, I've also been tweaking the way we present the "Still Pending" list. It should have a bit more of a visual flair, with our progress made and steps remaining a little easier to grasp.
REWARDS STILL PENDING
Alt text: Our final reward, Legacies of Earth, has the manuscript in post-editing development and has started Art Direction.
We've come a long way since our campaign concluded, but we've still got that one final Stretch Goal project to go. The manuscript is fairly far along, with Matthew noting, "I’m particularly fond of the array of magical items and Crossings in this book. Some really inspired stuff useful for players and GMs!" Meanwhile, the book has entered the production phase as well, with the Art Direction begun.
ONYX PATH PROJECT TRACKING
Rich has modified the way he's running the Project Tracking this year. At the end of each month, Onyx Path will be posting an update showing the current status of all of their projects and where each sits on the project tracking chart. In the weekly Monday Meeting Notes blogs, Rich will note any projects that have changed status, sometimes with developer notes, since the big monthly summary.
I will continue to post an update each month until that final Stretch Goal reward has gone out. Until then, I'll be in touch next month with our regular update!

Hello Legendlorriors,
I know our February update was fairly recent and there's still a bit of time before our March update goes out, but who wants to wait when it's time for a new reward, even a small one!
During our campaign, I try and throw in as many Stretch Goal targets as possible. Some are for big, exciting things, like new content (Legacies of Earth) and useful GM tools. Others keep up the enthusiasm and pace and help us mark milestones with full celebrations and additional opportunities to share some campaign love.

February 2022 Update - Tracking Information

It's time for some good news!
Last year saw a lot of massive shifts in Onyx Path's project plans, with their print plan delayed by up to 13 months on some projects. The good news is that the 2021 slate is finally printed and books have begun shipping, starting with Legendlore!
(As an aside, <THIS SUMMARY> from Extra Credits gives a great overview of the issues that everyone's been dealing with. It primarily focuses on board game publishers, but the situation spills out across all industries and also carries through to affect distribution and retail as well. As a bonus, the script was written by Onyx Path's own Eddy Webb!)
LEGENDLORE IS SHIPPING
All orders for the hardcover book that were confirmed by Jan 25, paid for by Feb 8, and had delivery destinations confirmed by Feb 15 have now been picked, packed, and shipped.
TRACKING INFORMATION
Normally, US backers would start seeing deliveries a week or two after the orders have left the warehouse, but the strain on delivery infrastructure during this pandemic has a cascading effect that's just slowing all processes down. That's also affecting tracking updates - but, I'm told, information should catch up as packages move through the system. Many of us may actually receive our books before the tracking status gets updated, but the good news is that, eventually, everything should be delivered and confirmed.
Now that the orders have shipped, you will (*should*) get an e-mail with Tracking Information.
Your tracking information may take 2-5 days to update at any given time, so you may see "Pre-Shipment" as it filters out to the various shipping agencies, but it should update as it travels and eventually delivers to you.
Again: You'll have your tracking numbers sent via the e-mail provided to Backerkit, and shortly thereafter, you will also be able to access your Tracking number in Backerkit by reviewing your Order Confirmation.
Your BackerKit Confirmation page has:
The TRACKING NUMBER for your shipment (once it's been uploaded)
Your confirmed shipping address
A link to your digital redemption codes
A link back to the Community page

As noted in this update, it may take up to 48 hours for Tracking Information to update. That said, tracking your packages - especially for international orders - can provide great assistance in solving minor issues before they become major issues.
International Shipping costs continue to climb - that's an understatement - and every sign points to additional costs coming later in 2022, so it's pretty important that we avoid any re-ships or additional shipping charges as much as possible. And that's where your help can really come in handy.
I've dealt with several situations where shipments were marked as "delivered" but the backer hadn't checked the tracking information for months, unaware that the package had been sitting at a neighbor's house or stuck in a local postal facility.
So, please, check your tracking number over the next few weeks. If you haven't received your package by, let's say April 15, review the tracking number to see where the issue might be.
Again, it may take a few days for any status updates to appear, and depending on the country and carrier, each package may enjoy a different transit time. But if we're into May, let's see if we can sort out any delivery issues while everything's still fresh.
For example, if Package status indicates it was delivered but you never received it
Double-check your Backerkit CONFIRMATION PAGE (as detailed above) that the correct address was provided, and maybe check with your neighbors to make sure it wasn’t accidentally left there. If that doesn’t turn up anything, contact the carrier or your local post office to report the package as not received and please contact me using the Contact Creator button on kickstarter to let me know you didn’t get your order.
I've seen so many orders sitting in a local post office for 8 weeks while the recipient was left unaware that it was waiting. Additionally, other backers have solved issues almost immediately with a quick call to FedEx and providing their tracking number.
It's a HUGE help to me and Onyx Path if we can solve any wayward shipment or stuck orders in March, rather than waiting until the summer when shipping systems finally give up delivery attempts and return the items to our fulfillment partner (at an extra cost to Onyx Path). Let's avoid paying for multiple return shipments if we can! Thanks for your help in advance.
Also, if you have any issues with your shipment or books, do not panic! As we've all done for the past few years, we will get through this. It may take a bit to sort, but I'll do my best to make sure everyone gets their rewards.

January 2022 Update

Welcome to the first *month end* update of 2022!
This one won't be as exciting, since last week we started our lockdown process so you've already got all of the big news. I'm mostly going to list our rewards in a slightly modified format (linking to any relevant updates from now on) and review where we're sitting in our lockdown process. So let's jump in!

Confirm Rewards / Confirm Orders - January 25, 2022
This step has been completed, and we've all locked in our final orders and Add Ons.
Process Outstanding Payments - February 8, 2022
For any additions you made in BackerKit, pre-orders, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed by FEBRUARY 8, 2022. On that date, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down and process all outstanding payments.
Confirm Delivery Information - February 15, 2022
Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for March/April/May 2022. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by February15. After this point, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can schedule the picking and packing of orders, with plans to begin shipping hopefully not long thereafter.
On February 15, I will send out a 48 HOUR NOTICE with the delivery information we have in the system and a link in case you need to update or modify. After those 48 hours, the delivery information will be considered confirmed and locked in our system.
BRAZILIAN BACKERS
To all our backers in Brazil, please include your CPF number alongside your name in your shipping information. As you know, it's expensive to ship to Brazil from the US, and any missing information will cause the shipment to be rejected or possibly destroyed at the border, so let's avoid any possible issues in this shipping process.
I'll double-check these as best I can, but if you're ahead of me, that helps out immensely.
IF YOUR ADDRESS IS CHANGING IN THE SPRING
If your shipping location will be changing during the March/April/May timeframe, please contact me at Onyx.Kickstarter [at] gmail.com. I will unlock your order and we'll hold off processing it until you're at your new location. If you have your new address and the effective date, let me know that too and I'll set it up. If you haven't confirmed your location yet, let me know that as well and I'll hold off the shipment until you're all sorted.

So, positive movement. Now that we've locked orders, we're getting closer to building our fulfillment schedule. The main rulebook has been printed! We still need it shipped to our distribution partner, along with the GM Screen, and the signed book inserts are still in process. But we're getting close!
