Hey Lengendlorriors,
Sneaking this in a little early this month. There's not a lot that's changed since last month, but I want to make sure that communication is constant and consistent. Even when it's just me repeating the same thing over and over.

Hey Lengendlorriors,
No big updates for you this month. Progress continues. But I absolutely want to touch base to make sure that you're up to speed, know about some other goings on in the Onyx Path world, and can reach me if you have any questions. Let's get to it!
This April is Jumpstart month for Onyx Path media! They're running one of every Jumpstart they can for their games, introducing them to new players and putting them in the hands of GMs skilled at some games, but new to these ones! They would love it if you checked some of these out, to maybe get acquainted for the first time with some of these Onyx Path games! Check out the schedule and tune in!
For anyone new to Onyx Path's channel, you can find them running and playing games over on twitch.tv/theonyxpath pretty much every day of the week!
A NEW ONYX PATH 5E OFFERING
I'll also note that Onyx Path has just released another sourcebook compatible with 5E. This isn't tied to any particular gameline, and could easily be worked into a Legendlore game (although, Legendlore's nature pretty much makes that easy for just about any game world...)
The Crossroads Continent is a vast land with marvelous diversity among its people. Hey there Legendlorriors,
Yep, that's maybe the only thing that I'm keeping from 2020.
Welcome to our first update of 2021. You folks that backed this campaign know more than many how disruptive last year was - we certainly got thrown off schedule when our first launch was derailed, but luckily were able to reassemble and run the campaign again in the summer.
We're only 4 weeks into 2021 so far, but I'm more than happy to report everything seems to be - quietly - on schedule and moving - slowly - ahead.

2020 Year End Update

Hey there Legendlorriors,
Yep, gonna keep using that name!
It's not quite the end of the year (the end of 2020 can't come soon enough!), but I wanted to get this out early so we can maybe have a little bit of quiet time during these year end holidays.
The Kickstarter campaign so nice we ran it twice!
This year has obviously been full of unexpected challenges and difficult times. Our campaign funded not quite six months ago, but it seems like it's been about 6 years since then! This year would normally have been mostly about watching the gradual progress on the projects we helped fund, as they slowly work their way to us. This year wasn't normal at all, though, but things have still moved along. I'm hoping 2021 is a much more manageable year, and looking forward to the results of the hard work of the Onyx Path team.

ONYX PATH ON KICKSTARTER IN 2020
To say this year was challenging would be an understatement. Despite difficult, uncertainty, and demanding situations, the Onyx Path team continued to work on the great projects that have made us fans. It wasn't easy - schedules shifted, delays managed, and difficulties dealt with - but here we are at the end of 2020 with some victories to show!
Kickstarter continues to be an important part of the process for Onyx Path, and looking at the long list of projects in the works on the Monday Meeting Notes blog, it certainly looks like that’ll continue to be the case in 2021.
Rather than just take pre-order for an upcoming project, Kickstarter has allowed Onyx Path to gauge interest in game lines (to see if they should develop additional projects beyond those offered during the campaign), and sometimes even add additional projects to a game line immediately via Stretch Goal achievements. More importantly, it’s a chance to interact with the community and for everyone to get involved from the earliest stages.
Certainly with Legendlore, we had a few chances to interact! The pandemic and shut down derailed our first attempt at launching this, but thanks to your patience and support, Legendlore was able to relaunch later in the year and fund a complete book - and supplement!
Looking at 2020, Onyx Path had 7 Kickstarter campaigns funded, with one more currently on the go!
And, though the campaign still has a few days to go, the recent DeadMan's Rust mega-adventure and setting supplement for ScarredLands 5th Edition has funded, which means it will get added to the list soon!
