Hello Legendlorriors,
No major announcements this month, just the ongoing efforts for the team to get things back on track. We'll have a super quick update and I'll be back at the end of the year to touch base, or earlier if we've got any news to share.
STRETCH GOAL REWARD REMAINING
As noted last month, our companion supplement is currently in art direction, getting some issues sorted before preliminary layout work can begin.

Aug '22: Updates going bi-monthly, 5E Gen Con Panel, Monthly Summary

Hello Legendlorriors,
We're crossing into the final week of August, so it's time for our regular month end update.
Although... I think I'm going to modify our schedule and send these out every other month, unless I've got some new Legendlore information or there's a status change on our reward.
We've just got the one final reward, but the hurdles that have plagued everyone over the past few years keep popping up, and our Legacies of Earth supplement hasn't quite yet managed to make it through that obstacle course. I know the internal plan is to have everything wrapped up by the end of the year (if not sooner - in fact the plan was to have it all done by now, but small challenges keep popping up.) From my perspective outside the process, it sounds like the team is working hard to get things "back on track" but it's been a process that probably doesn't need me commenting on it each month.
So, let's flip these to every other month so there's still some consistent and constant communication, and I promise to let you know any time there's bit of Legendlore or related news or progress on our final Stretch Goal reward. I do think there's a good chance we'll be all wrapped up by the end of the year.
GEN CON ONLINE PANEL
I do have one bit of related news to share. Earlier in the month, Onyx Path participated in the Gen Con Online convention, and had one panel dedicated to their 5th Edition products. So, check out this panel with Eddy Webb, Rich Thomas, and Dixie Cochran talking all about their 5E games including Pugmire, Scarred Lands, and, of course, Legendlore.

As noted, Legacies of Earth has been in a bit of a holding pattern in the art direction phase. The team thinks they've got some issues sorted, though, and we should see forward progress and the eventual distribution in the upcoming months. Thanks to everyone for their ongoing patience!

A quick update for July, and a week or so early. Nothing major to report this month, so I'm gonna sneak out for a few days vacation next week and wanted to get this out to you early... rather than late, I guess.

June '22: Convention Game, Online Game Discussion, Monthly Check In

While the artists work on the illustrations for our final reward, I've got one bit of fun to help entertain us while we wait. As you may remember, a few weeks back Onyx Path held their third annual Virtual Gaming Convention. I've got one of the Actual Play sessions to share with you from that weekend.
Onyx Path Con 2022: Legendlore Game Session
Thanks to those who participated in this Legendlore game, as well as the many other games streamed over that weekend. It's an interesting shift that's happened over the past 3 years. Back in 2019, I had played maybe a few dozen games online over the years, with most of my experience being in person around a table. But, for obvious reasons, in the past three years my gaming group has gotten together in-person only twice and I've played hundreds of games online. There's certainly been a learning curve, and some of the things I've discovered over this time are talked about in this panel from the Onyx Path Convention:

Travis has run more games online than most, and I thought this panel might be an interesting discussion about how we've been playing over the life of the Legendlore campaign.

May 2022 Update

Hello Legendlorriors,
No major news in this month end update, just our regular status check in and some follow up on reward shipments.
ANY WAYWARD BOOKS STILL OUT THERE?
It feels like it's been forever since our books shipped and delivered, doesn't it? I guess it was just about 12 weeks ago, but it feels like a lifetime. Anyway, as far as I'm aware, everything has delivered.
TRACKING INFORMATION
If you were set to receive a hardcover copy of Legendlore as a kickstarter reward, your book has shipped and likely delivered by now. If you haven't received it yet, please check your tracking and confirm that it's still en route. Sometimes I'll hear from backers that had no idea the book was being held at a local post office or had delivered to their next door neighbor. The courier and delivery companies keep tracking information for about 6 months, so if you've got any issues, please let me know as soon as possible so we can sort them out. See Contacting James below. By, let's say, August we may not have access to full tracking information. At that point, I'm going to assume that everything went fine, so if you have an issue please contact me as soon as possible.

Right now, artists and designers are getting all of the images and elements together before Onyx Path's layout team assembles the book. As soon as I have any preview artwork, I'll share it in an update. In the meantime, the Onyx Path crew will continue to make incremental progress. We'll get there!

There are also come great panels to check out, all of which will be hosted on the Onyx Path Twitch channel.
Aside from the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, you may be interested in the CRC Panel and Pugmire Panel running on Saturday evening. Both are 5E-based and can add additional flavor to your Legendlore campaign.
